the girls are sure feeling better and have bounced back to their normal selves. They have really gotten used to doing their breathing treatments and will even do it themselves. At first Kaylee kicked and screamed throughout the whole first treatment, I had to hold it in front of her face as well as try to hold her. Forget trying to "wear" the mask. Renee wasn't afraid of it at first but wasn't to keen on wearing the mask either. Now a few days later they both like wearing the mask and even ask for their treatment. It's kind of cute.
However we are noticing that they don't fall asleep like they used to, they are up giggling, talking and even out of bed playing doll house for an hour or so past their bed time. I'm thinking the breathing treatments are wiring them up and causing some of that. SO hopefully we can put the nebulizer machine away soon and really be all back to normal soon. Although it is cute to hear them whispering and playing, it doesn't make for good behavior the next day when they aren't well rested.
Today we had a family outing went to Sams club and the kids did pretty good for us. I know, exciting huh! Well it's pretty big in my life! We haven't been in a few months so we had to stock up on a lot of things this time and spent twice as much as we normally do. So it really doesn't pay to not go as often I'm finding! It was enjoyable to go up and down the aisle searching for things we needed and good deals. We found the best deal on Kenneth Cole dress belts for Joe, which he happened to of needed desperately. 2 belts for $4.81! His cheap Walmart buy was falling apart and needed to be junked in the worst way. Then after we checked out, we got a cheap lunch at their lunch stand and headed home.
The kids then went to a friends house while we went off to H&R Block to get our taxes done. Normally Joe does them, but this year with all the many factors of being residents in 2 states, having a rental in another state, having tuition, student loans, Health Savings accounts, and a few other things that just added to the difficulty of doing them ourselves. Plus we wanted to make sure we did it all right and got the most refund back as possible! Fingers crossed for a good refund, we sure need it!
That's all for now. Have a great weekend!
