The kids started by decorating eggs, which they all loved until the 2 year olds became more fascinated with breaking open the eggs to eat them! Maybe we should of fed them first, note to self for next year! :)
Zoey: "This is how you do it Ryan, watch very carefully"
Pretty eggs girls!
Grandma the Easter bunny
Then we sent them out to do the Easter egg hunt. This was totally classic this year and will go down in Family "history" as a memorable one! So another "note to self".......
Don't let a 4 yr old hide the eggs unsupervised.....this is what happens......watch the videos below
Ryan is excited and running around as fast as he can looking and looking and looking for the hidden all too well eggs.....
Zoey was the only one able to find them, because she hid them.....all in the same spot behind the bush! You have to watch her gather them all up like she means business!! It's great!
Then we took some of the eggs from Zoey's basket and spread them out for the "babies" to find some.

Kaylee was thrilled to find An egg and stopped after one, because she realized that there was candy inside!

She was happy with her "egg" and empty basket because she now has CHOCOLATE! Such a girl, she gets her love of chocolate from Grandma.

That sure was fun!! I still can't believe Zoey hid all the eggs for herself. What a stinker.
What a fun day! Zoey sounds like a smart little girl =) but it also looked like Ryan was a good sport. I like your idea of having markers to decorate the eggs (better than bunches of glasses of colored liquid ready to be spilled)
Good one Zoey!
that is so funny! that could cause a problem around here. my boys have to find an equal amount of eggs or a fight breaks out!
Looks like you had fun. The kids are soooooo cute.
