California: Monday

Monday was our big trip to Disneyland!!! We were so excited, but over looked our calanders and that Monday was Columbus day. Oh well...we had a good time fighting the crowds and all. It really wasn't that busy in my eyes...I've seen worse, and definitely seen better too!

First things first we of course stopped on main street to take a picture and then headed right over to Buzz light year! Ryan was excited to see a real buzz light year and the video below catches his understanding what to do about Zurg!

Daddy no longer needs to show Ryan the ropes... now it's an all out competition.

Another amazing Mini me picture!

Then we rode a few rides....Dumbo, the carousel, attempted to go on peter pan, but the ride kept stopping so we hoped out of line, because trying to keep 2 almost 2 year olds content in very close quarters isn't easy or fun!

The we went and saw a "Royal court" where 3 "Real Princesses" came out and showed the kids how to dance at a royal ball. It was fun for the kids to be able to stretch their legs and "dance" with the Royal court. (Nic you would of had a blast here!!)

We quickly realized how much more fun that was to find places where the kids could run and be free, than try to keep them contained waiting in a line....so off to toon town we went. There is a lot to do, touch and play with there.

Renee had endless amounts of fun on the slide.

Ryan loved being "goofy" in goofy's house!

And Kaylee had a fun exploring and "tasting" a little bit of everything.

So after Kaylee decided to drink from the hose, we sat them all down for a "picnic lunch in the park"

Then my sweet Friend Nicole came to meet us with her adorable son Niko and we headed over to the Jungle cruise and the Tiki room.

Grandma was successful in getting Kaylee to take a nap in her arms. I didn't have the same luck with Renee. I tried to take her into the Tiki room with everyone else, but starting screaming so I came back out with Grandma. Failing to get her to sleep she wandered around the waiting area of the Tiki room making a new friend. A little girl about 10 yrs old thought Renee was cute and asked if she could give her a jelly bean, i agreed and so she did. She took it, ate it, as she walked away, and immediately went back holding out her hand for more. I apologized....I should of warned her it was like feeding a bear! Renee kept going back to her finding her through the now crowded area. the little girl kept on laughing every time Renee showed up at her feet!

Then we had a real treat for Ryan.......we saw a "real live Star wars" show

The videos are great, so take time to watch them!

After the show we sat down and grabbed a turkey sand which to eat and waited to Andy and Megan to meet up with us. Nicole and Niko stayed for dinner but then had to get home. Thanks again for coming for the afternoon Nicole! It was so fun having you play with us!!

We met up with Andy and Megan and Ryan tried to sit through another Jedi Show to try to get picked, but no luck so we headed on to The Pirates of the Caribbean and Winnie the Pooh. It was sure nice having Uncle Andy and Aunt Megan there to help hold someones hand and keep them entertained!

Andy was having fun helping Renee walk on the cliff/path to catch up to Ryan

Yeah we made it! (Andy still a bit nervous that they are so close to the edge!)

Andy doing his best to keep tabs on all 3, helping them balance on the fence to see better.

Until Kaylee bites the dust!

Andy made it all better by riding with Kaylee and making her laugh the whole way!

Disneyland was a blast. Probably very tiring for you but fun still. Cute pictures.
