Time keeps on slippin..slippin..into the future

Hi there! We are still here with our head above water. The girls are 3 months today, we can't believe it! They are getting chubby and sooo cute! Unfortunately their sleeping regimen has digressed as they are getting chubbier and outgrowing the medicine for their tummies. We just were able to up their dose so hopefully we will be getting back into the swing of things and on a better schedule. Besides sleeping, they are doing quite well. They are smiling all the time and starting to coo a lot more. Ryan is still having a blast with them and loves to get the "pathafire" when they start to cry a little bit. He is such a great big brother!!

Karen is loving not working right now and is dreading the fateful day in April when she has to go back to work. Joe is dreading it too, since this means he has to get up in the middle of the night and feed them. Hopefully they will be sleeping even better when that day comes. We could definitely use some prayers in that department so please send'em up if you think of it. Karen has been a busy little bee with joining the Moms of Multiples club here in Orange County, going to park day (sometimes with all three kids!!), journaling for the girls and Ryan, and still keeping the home under control. Joe (and most everyone) is amazed everyday at our own personal "super-mom".

Joe is continuing to plug away at school. He is having problems with one of his teachers in his last prerequisite class for Pharmacy school, but is still keeping his head above water. Joe HAS to pass this class to start Pharm school in the Fall. Even though Joe has never even come close to failing a class, this teacher is a real jerk so he could use a little prayers in that area too.

This has also been a busy couple weeks for visits. Two weeks ago Karen's brother Brian and his wife Kendra came out to visit for a week. Since Karen's mom is moving to Arizona also, their visits to California will be fewer in years to come so they made sure to enjoy their precious time. Ryan and Zoey (Ryan's cousin) had a great time at the Long Beach aquarium, a local petting zoo type farm, and then playing with Karen's old doll house. Joe wants everyone to know that Ryan just watched...he didn't play with dolls...except for Grandma Jane's Lil' Peanut and Sweet Pea..but that doesn't count! Joe's dad made it out here for a quick visit this last weekend and enjoyed some long awaited Grandpa-Grandson time. Ryan really enjoyed having him here and loved seeing Grandpa's "big twuck". Ryan warmed up to him really quick and was quick to show him all of his favorite toys. Ryan is excited for Grandpa's next visit already.

Well that sums up our last couple weeks. I'm not gonna tell you that we will get more posts up often because every time we do, time just slips away and we don't. We will do our best to find time for blogging and will let everyone know once it is updated. Thank you for visiting our blog and hope you enjoy the pictures.

Abigail (Zoey's sister and Ryan's cousin) found one of the cat toy feathers and was able to suck off all of the red dye. She may still be red to this day....we're not sure.

Zoey: "Ryan!" "Stick your finger right in this hole...it's wet!"
Ryan: "Um....Ok!"

Ryan just "watching" Zoey play with the doll house. Just watching...that's it...NOT playing with dolls.

Renee enjoying her tummy time

Kaylee showing off how well she can hold her head up.

Who ever invented kick and play bouncy seats.....THANK YOU!!

Renee: "Kaylee, you about done up there? I can't do this tummy time much longer!"
Kaylee: "No way! I just found out if I toot, it makes the music play and lights go off!"

Even though the super mom herself has been up most of the night...she is still able to tackle all three at once.

I love watching them grow! I can't wait to see them tomorrow. They are beautiful and it looks like Ryan is such a great big brother. Glad they're doing well and will be thinking of you as you get ready for school and AZ!

Karen, I've been going to the 4p.m. music class. It's a little less crowded and at a better time with Trent's nap schedule. Come at 4 with me!!
