Picture Perfect

Alas, we have reached the one-month mark! The girls are doing great and we are enjoying the ride...until the evening that is. We took the girls in this week for their one-month visit and they both are now over 7lbs! Go breast milk! Unfortunately, the girls have been diagnosed with "mild reflux" and have now been on a regimen of Mylanta and Zantac. Compared to Ryan, who had "moderate-severe reflux", it is not too bad. It could be better, but it could be worse. We are grateful that it is not. This is fairly common considering that they are twins and their digestive system just isn't fully developed yet. Hopefully, with a little bit of luck and a whole lot of prayer, they will grow out of it soon. They are tending to give Karen some bigger blocks of sleep during the evening, so lets hope it continues in the positive direction.

Recently, a good friend (and happens to be our neighbor too!) came over and took some wonderful pictures of the girls together. We were so pleased with them that we just had to share them with all of you. Hot off the press for your viewing pleasure are the following outstanding pictures. (Thanks Stephanie!!)

We just wanted to thank all of you for visiting our blog and thinking of us. We know that so many of you are praying for us because we can see the blessings pouring in. We love to hear back from anyone so drop us a note or leave us a comment to let us know what you think.
Sometimes, you just don't need a pillow.
Introducing...Princess Renee and Princess Kaylee.

It doesn't matter how they fall asleep..you just don't move when it happens.

Socks work good to keep feet warm, but snuggling works better!

Renee showing off her "Spock" sign with her toes. Such talent!

Now this one is just too cute to make a funny comment about.

"Girls!" "Uncle Andy is coming over!"

"Ok, I take it back..I take it back..Andy is NOT coming over"

The captions on the last two should read: "Girls, Grandma Smith is coming over..."

I would cry too, if I knew Andy was coming! Such sweet babies! They sure are growing! Must be all that tender loving care you give them. Sorry to hear about the reflux. Will pray it stays mild and that you NOT have a repeat of Ryan. Oh, but with all you went thru with him, he turned out cute and sweet too. Love you all.

Joe and Karen, Thanks for sharing the pictures. The girls are adorable and their feet soooo tiny. I missed seeing a picture of Ryan. Your neighbor did a great job. Thanks again for sharing, you guys are doing a great job of holding onto all the memories.

Love,
Joyce

The pictures are darling. I love the pictures of the feet, but am glad there are others to show how pretty they are.
I hope the sleeping schedule continues to improve.
