It's nice to help someone in need, and it's nice to have a helping hand in return. Since living here we have had 3 different friends ask us to watch their kids over night. Ranging from 1 kid to 7 and ages 18 months to 16yrs. We've been glad to do it and felt happy that we could provide help and comfort to them as they leave their kids. We would love to leave our kids with someone too but usually only feel comfortable leaving them with Grandma. But since we no longer live in the same town as grandma, its nice to know we have options/surrogate family to call on for help when we need it too.
Now to plan a get away!! ;-)
